Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, the juice and zest of one lemon, 1 tablespoon of honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until emulsified.
  2. Wash and spin dry 4 cups of fresh romaine lettuce. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan, 1/4 cup of sliced red onion, and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes. Toss gently.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently for about 30 seconds to coat the leaves evenly.
