Ingredients

For the Pasta
  • 2 cups Rotini Pasta Substitute with penne or rice pasta for gluten-free options.
For the Chicken
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast Rotisserie chicken is perfect for convenience.
For the Greens
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce Consider spinach or arugula for a different flavor profile.
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Caesar Dressing Homemade or store-bought works.
For the Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional but highly recommended.
For the Crunch
  • 1 cup Crushed Croutons Add right before serving.
For Extra Flavor
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Optional; dice and mix for added freshness.

Equipment

  • large pot
  • Colander
  • Mixing bowl

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by boiling water in a large pot, adding a pinch of salt once it’s bubbling. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8 to 10 minutes. Once done, drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold water to cool it down, preventing it from sticking together.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled rotini pasta with diced cooked chicken breast and chopped romaine lettuce. If you’re using cherry tomatoes, dice them and add them to the bowl as well. Gently toss everything together.
  3. Pour your choice of Caesar dressing over the mixed ingredients in the bowl. Toss to ensure every piece is coated in the dressing.
  4. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste, and mix everything thoroughly.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle the crushed croutons generously on top. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil if desired.
