  • ½ cup Heavy Cream milk can be substituted
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese or vegan cream cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar reduce for less sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract use pure extract for the best taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare dough by heating milk, butter, and sugar until melted and cooling it to 120°F-130°F.
  2. Knead the dough on medium speed for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise for 1 to 1½ hours until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into an 18x12 inch rectangle, spread with butter, and sprinkle with the filling.
  5. Shape the rolls tightly and cut into twelve pieces.
  6. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 45 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and pour heavy cream over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare frosting by mixing cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  10. Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.
