  • 1 cup Lemon Wheels For garnishing.
  • 1 cup Mint Sprigs For garnishing.

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine Sieve
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pitcher
  • Fork or Potato Masher

Method

Steps to Prepare Tart Peach Lemonade
  1. Begin by washing, pitting, and dicing the peaches. Combine diced peaches with granulated sugar and water in a saucepan. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice. Heat over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until peaches are soft.
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Mash peaches with a fork or potato masher then strain through a fine sieve to create a smooth peach puree. Set aside to cool completely.
  3. In another saucepan, combine equal parts granulated sugar and water to make simple syrup. Heat gently until sugar dissolves and mixture is clear, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Juice the lemons, straining out seeds. Combine lemon juice with cooled simple syrup in a mixing bowl or pitcher. Adjust sweetness to taste and strain once more for a smooth lemonade base.
  5. Mix in the cooled peach puree and gradually add cold water until reaching your preferred drink strength. The mixture should be vibrant and inviting.
  6. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice, garnished with peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint sprigs.
