  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
For the Mint Layer
  • 2 cups Whipped Topping or Whipped Cream Use stabilizer if needed
  • 1 package Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix For the mint layer
  • 2 cups Cold Milk Icy cold
  • 1 teaspoon Mint Extract Use conservatively
  • 1 drop Green Food Coloring Adjust for desired vibrancy
For Decoration
  • 1/2 cup Maraschino Cherries For topping
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream For extra creaminess
  • 1/4 cup Green Sprinkles For decoration

Preparation Steps
  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, melt unsalted butter, and mix with the crumbs. Press into a 9x13-inch dish and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add cocoa powder and hot cocoa mix. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the chilled crust. Chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Whisk together instant pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Fold in whipped topping, mint extract, and food coloring. Spread over the chocolate layer.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. This ensures layers set and flavors meld.
  5. Before serving, top with whipped cream, cherries, and green sprinkles. Cut with a knife dipped in warm water for clean slices.
