  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Use regular paprika for a milder flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional for heat
For Baking
  • 1 tablespoon Light Olive Oil Any neutral oil will do

Step-by-Step Instructions for Tofu Deli Meat
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Drain the block of high-protein tofu and pat it dry gently. Slice thinly, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine vegetable broth, Bragg's Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and pour over the sliced tofu to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Grease your baking sheet with light olive oil. Spread the tofu slices across the prepared sheet without overlapping.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are crispy and golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving in a sandwich, wrap, or salad.
