Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, butter, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the butter melts and the ingredients blend into a smooth sauce.
  2. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk until smooth.
  5. In a deep pan, pour enough vegetable oil to cover the shrimp, and heat to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, dip in the egg wash, then return to the flour mixture for a second coat.
  7. Carefully fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  8. In a bowl, add fried shrimp and drizzle with hot honey sauce. Toss gently to coat.
