Directions
  1. Heat the Oil: Place a large pot over medium heat and add olive oil. Heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Sauté the Sausage: Add sliced chicken sausage and sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Cook the Broccoli: Add broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Stir in the Orzo: Add dry orzo, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  6. Simmer the Dish: Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the Parmesan: Stir in grated Parmesan cheese after removing from heat.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
