Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Kabobs
  1. Begin by cutting the boneless skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they are uniform for even cooking. Place the chicken into a resealable container or a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, and black pepper. Pour the marinade over the chicken, seal the container and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F to 400°F.
  4. After marinating, thread the marinated chicken pieces onto metal skewers, alternating with slices of zucchini, red onion, and bell peppers.
  5. Place the assembled kabobs on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
