Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by thinly slicing 1 pound of beef against the grain into bite-sized strips.
- If time allows, marinate the beef in a mix of 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 teaspoon grated ginger for 15–30 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon honey, and the remaining minced garlic and grated ginger.
- Place a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, adding 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Once the oil shimmers, add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear without stirring for 2–3 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- Using the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and toss in sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and broccoli florets, stir-frying for 3–5 minutes.
- Add snap peas into the pan, continuing to stir-fry for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and pour in your prepared sauce, tossing everything together and cooking for another 1–2 minutes.
- Distribute the Beef Stir Fry onto plates or bowls, garnishing with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
