  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil Can substitute with canola or vegetable oil.
  • 1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar or Honey Maple syrup can also work.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Yellow or whole grain mustard can be used.
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) Garlic powder can be used as alternative.
  • Black Pepper Freshly cracked pepper is recommended.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or honey), 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 3 cloves minced garlic, and a dash of black pepper until well blended.
  2. Place 2 bone-in pork chops in a large zip-top bag or baking dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops.
  3. Refrigerate the marinated pork chops for at least 1 hour, preferably 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to 400°F (medium-high heat).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard excess marinade.
  6. Grill the pork chops for about 2 minutes on high heat, then reduce temperature and cook for an additional 4-7 minutes per side.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
