Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Peach Lemonade Recipe
- Wash and pit 6-8 ripe peaches, then dice them into small pieces. Combine with ½ cup of granulated sugar, ½ cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for about 10-15 minutes until the peaches are soft.
- Remove from heat and mash the peach mixture. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to extract a smooth peach puree. Allow to cool to room temperature.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves. Let cool completely.
- Juice about 8-10 medium lemons until you have 1 ½ cups of fresh lemon juice. Strain out any seeds or pulp. Mix this juice with the cooled simple syrup in a large pitcher.
- Add the chilled peach puree to the lemonade base. Gradually pour in 4 cups of cold water, stirring gently. Adjust sweetness and strength to taste, adding more water up to 6 cups if needed.
- Chill the delicious Peach Lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint sprigs.
