  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter softened, or vegan butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup for vegan
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Milk dairy or plant-based

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. Cream softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then incorporate honey and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk all-purpose flour, baking powder, dried lavender, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  6. Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes and check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Prepare frosting by beating softened butter and gradually adding powdered sugar.
  10. Add honey, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and adjust consistency with milk.
  11. Frost cooled cupcakes and garnish with dried lavender.
