Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken tenders on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. Lightly toast the hoagie rolls in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 2–3 minutes or on a skillet until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Spread a layer of creamy honey mustard sauce on each toasted roll. Add a cooked chicken tender, drizzle with South Carolina mustard BBQ sauce, and layer with toppings like lettuce, red onion, and pickles. Add hot sauce if desired.
