  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided; part-skim can lighten it up
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese nutritional yeast as dairy-free alternative

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions or chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning or Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce optional
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, half of the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and half of the chopped green onions.
  3. Pour the mixture into an oven-safe dish and spread evenly, then sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and center is bubbly.
  5. Switch to broil and cook for 1–2 minutes, watching closely for a golden crust.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with remaining green onions. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
