  • 1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce Both store-bought and homemade versions work.
For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup Almond Flakes Substitute with other nuts if desired.
  • 2 tbsp Black Sesame Seeds Can be swapped for poppy seeds or omitted.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Gently unwrap the thawed filo pastry and cut the sheets into 36 squares, about 10cm x 10cm each.
  3. Generously apply melted butter over each square of filo pastry using a pastry brush.
  4. Place a slice of creamy brie and about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on each buttered filo square, then sprinkle almond flakes on top.
  5. Roll the filled filo squares towards the opposite end and pinch the ends to seal each cracker.
  6. Brush the rolled crackers with melted butter and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the crackers cool slightly, then garnish with fresh rosemary leaves or chives before serving.
