For the Drink
  • 1 cup Milk 2% suggested; almond or oat milk as alternatives.
  • 1 shot Espresso Use strong brewed coffee if espresso is unavailable.
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Coconut Chips

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small jar, combine heavy cream, coconut syrup, and ube extract. Froth or whisk until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice, add 1 cup of milk, and stir in 1 tablespoon of coconut syrup.
  3. Brew 1 shot of espresso and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Pour the espresso slowly over the back of a spoon into the glass with sweetened milk.
  5. Spoon the ube coconut cold foam over the layered drink and top with toasted coconut chips before serving.
