  • 8 ounces Fettuccine Pasta Cook according to package instructions.
For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts Can substitute with shrimp or tofu.
For Sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing chicken.
For Flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 piece Red Bell Pepper Sliced.
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey Or substitute with agave syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Or tamari/coconut aminos as alternatives.
  • to taste Chili Flakes Optional for extra spiciness.
For Garnish
  • to taste Green Onions For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sauté chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if necessary. Add minced garlic and sliced red bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and tender.
  4. Pour in honey and low-sodium soy sauce. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Slice chicken and return to skillet. Add drained fettuccine and toss to combine for 1-2 minutes, coating pasta with the sauce. Optionally add chili flakes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions. Enjoy!
