Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken thighs dry, season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Prepare the garlic-Parmesan mixture by mixing Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  4. Flip each chicken thigh and sear the opposite side for 2-3 minutes, then remove from skillet.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, add remaining butter, and sauté minced garlic for about 60 seconds.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, spoon garlic sauce over them, and sprinkle garlic-Parmesan mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
