Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth, then mix in the milk, egg yolks, and vanilla extract.
  3. Sift in the flour and cornstarch, stirring gently until no lumps remain.
  4. Beat the egg whites with salt until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese mixture gently without deflating them.
  6. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each liner about three-quarters full.

  8. Cool the cupcakes in the tin for about 30 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
