Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather your oven-proof dishes.
  2. Lightly butter four individual oven-proof dessert dishes and sprinkle 4 teaspoons of castor sugar in each.
  3. Distribute ½ cup of fresh blueberries evenly in each dish.
  4. Blend cream cheese with remaining castor sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and one egg until smooth. Gradually add remaining eggs and milk until creamy.
  5. Pour the batter into each dish over the blueberries, filling them about 1 inch from the top.
  6. Sprinkle the zest of one lemon over the batter in each dish.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown and puffy, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  8. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
