  • 1/2 cup Dandelion Petals Use only the yellow petals
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Honey Adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1/4 cup Vital Proteins Grass Fed Gelatin Substitute with any flavorless gelatin if needed
For the Molding
  • 1 set Silicone Gummy Bear Molds Use for shaping the gummies

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Harvest about 1/2 cup of yellow dandelion petals and boil 1 heaping cup of water. Add petals and steep for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Strain the petals to extract dandelion tea.
  3. In a saucepan, add warm dandelion tea and honey, stirring for 2-3 minutes until dissolved.
  4. Sprinkle gelatin into the honey tea mixture while whisking for 3-4 minutes until fully dissolved.
  5. Fill the silicone molds with the gelatin mixture, ensuring to fill each cavity to the top.
  6. Let the molds sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes until the gummies are set.
  7. Peel the gummies from the molds and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
