Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into chips or wedges. Pat them dry, toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix, then arrange in a single layer.
  3. Cook the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy, shaking halfway through.
  4. In a medium frying pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, cook until browned, then stir in the remaining spice mix for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to create the sauce.
  6. Layer crispy potatoes, lettuce, cooked beef, optional toppings, and sauce in bowls for serving.
