Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs in, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until whites are set, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  5. Layer fresh ingredients on the first slice: lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon.
  6. Place the second slice on top with mayo side down, spread avocado on top.
  7. Stack the cooked eggs on top of the avocado and add cheddar cheese.
  8. Place the final slice on top, mayo side down, and gently press down.
  9. Secure with toothpicks and slice diagonally to serve.
