Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir until dissolved and let sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy.
  2. Stir in melted butter and beaten egg. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for about 40 minutes until doubled.
  5. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth to make the filling.
  6. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle, spread cream cheese filling, and sprinkle strawberries on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking dish.
