Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse strawberries, hull and slice them into quarters. Thinly slice the cucumber into rounds or half-moons.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice or balsamic vinegar, honey or maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper until emulsified.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cucumbers, strawberries, and fresh herbs. Optional: crumble feta on top.
  4. Drizzle half of the dressing over the salad and gently toss together using salad tongs.
  5. Transfer to a serving platter, sprinkle nuts or seeds on top, and drizzle with remaining dressing. Serve immediately.
