  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Try dairy-free cheese for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits Omit for vegetarian or replace with plant-based bacon.
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Substitute with chives for a similar taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic works well for a stronger taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Can omit if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste, especially if using salted bacon.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Feel free to adjust or try a spicier variant.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking and a crispy texture for your Loaded Hashbrown Bites.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and form compact round patties using your hands.
