Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together whole milk, sour cream, and lemon juice until smooth. Set it aside.
  2. In a separate large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, ground black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Dip the shrimp in the milk mixture, then roll in the flour mixture, coating generously. Set the coated shrimp aside.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet until it reaches 325°F. Test with a small piece of coating; if it sizzles, it's ready.
  5. Carefully add the coated shrimp in batches to the hot oil, frying each for approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, and Sriracha. Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce.
  7. Transfer shrimp to a serving platter, garnish with lime wedges, and serve immediately with extra Bang Bang sauce on the side.
