  • 8 oz Fettuccine or substitute with penne or zoodles
For the Chicken
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast diced into bite-sized pieces
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for searing chicken
  • 2 tbsp Butter or use plant-based butter for dairy-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Honey natural sweetness
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream substitute with coconut milk for dairy-free
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water over high heat, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Dice chicken breast and toss in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and sear for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and melt, then sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in honey, simmer for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, add drained pasta, and toss until combined, adding reserved pasta water as necessary.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
