Cooking Steps
- Boil a large pot of salted water over high heat, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- Dice chicken breast and toss in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and sear for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- Add butter to the skillet and melt, then sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in honey, simmer for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet, add drained pasta, and toss until combined, adding reserved pasta water as necessary.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
