  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  2. In your slow cooker, combine cream of chicken soup, dry ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the seared or raw chicken breasts into the sauce mixture, cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with two forks and stir into the sauce.
  5. Stir in sour cream until fully combined and smooth, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
