  • ½ cup Chopped Green Onions, divided Use only the white parts for cooking.
For Finish and Flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar White vinegar can be used in a pinch.
  • 2 whole Beaten Eggs, optional Omit for a lighter version.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and add the ground pork, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Reduce heat to medium, add yellow onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Gradually add chicken broth while mixing well. Bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add shredded carrots and cabbage. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. If using, drizzle beaten eggs slowly while stirring, cooking for an additional minute until just set.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve garnished with green onions and optional spice.
