Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep ingredients by slicing sausage and bacon, dicing onion, mincing garlic, and cubing potatoes.
  2. In a skillet, crisp bacon for 5-7 minutes, then brown sausage for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Cook diced onion in sausage drippings for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Transfer all to the crockpot, add herbs, broth, and potatoes; stir gently.
