Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook Pasta & Broccoli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Heat oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. Make Cowboy Butter Lemon Sauce: In the skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice and zest. Add parsley and chives.
  4. Combine Everything: Return chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the skillet with sauce. Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water until creamy. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
  5. Serve: Transfer to plates, garnish with additional Parmesan and parsley, and serve immediately.
