  • 200 grams Ladyfinger Cookies Store-bought or homemade.
  • 300 ml Coffee (Espresso) Decaf works well too.
  • 50 ml Marsala Wine Optional, adds depth.
For the Finishing Touch
  • 30 grams Cocoa Powder Use unsweetened Dutch processed for best flavor.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare a double boiler and whisk egg yolks and sugar until thickened and pale.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream and mascarpone cheese until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped mascarpone mixture into the cooled egg mixture.
  4. Layer dipped ladyfingers in a dish, followed by half the cream mixture. Repeat the layers.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder before serving and enjoy.
