  3. Mix in vanilla extract and salt on low speed until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually incorporate sifted cake flour, mixing on low until just combined.

  7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
