Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper brushed with olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Italian herb blend, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 10-12 portions. Take one portion, flatten it, place a cheese cube in the center, wrap the meat around it, and form into a patty.
  4. Place the shaped patties on the prepared baking tray. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5-8 minutes until melted.
  6. Let the patties rest for 3 minutes before serving. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley or chives.
