- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper brushed with olive oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Italian herb blend, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 10-12 portions. Take one portion, flatten it, place a cheese cube in the center, wrap the meat around it, and form into a patty.
- Place the shaped patties on the prepared baking tray. Brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5-8 minutes until melted.
- Let the patties rest for 3 minutes before serving. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley or chives.
