  • 50 grams Parmesan Cheese Can substitute with Pecorino Romano or cheddar
  • 100 grams Walnuts Pecans can be used as an alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Thyme Leaves Use dried thyme in moderation if necessary
For Brushing and Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Milk Any type including plant-based is fine
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt Freshly ground recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) or 200°C (390°F) for electric non-fan-forced model.
  2. Unroll your store-bought puff pastry sheets on a clean surface and drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each sheet.
  3. Sprinkle walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, and grated Parmesan evenly across each pastry sheet, followed by thyme, sea salt, and cracked pepper.
  4. Roll each pastry sheet into a log shape and cut the log into halves lengthwise.
  5. Twist each half along its length and shape into coils on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush tops with milk.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and garnish with fresh thyme before serving warm.
