  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh minced garlic is preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Optional, enhances flavor.
Chicken
  • 2 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs Juicy when grilled, may substitute with chicken breasts.
Garnishing
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped; cilantro can be an alternative.
  • 4 slices Pineapple Slices Optional for grilling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the marinade ingredients. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring they are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding the leftover marinade. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until charred and at an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Optionally grill the pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized.
  5. Serve the chicken, garnished with chopped green onions and grilled pineapple.
